Tommy Sheppard is an Episcopal priest and trauma-informed clinician whose vocation has grown at the intersection of parish ministry, chaplaincy, and behavioral health. Over more than a decade of service, he has worked with children and families in the Tennessee foster care system, counseled adolescents and adults in residential and outpatient substance use and psychiatric treatment settings, and provided crisis intervention, group, and individual therapy using evidence-based modalities such as ACT, CBT, DBT, and somatic approaches. Now serving as Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Moundsville, WV, and Chaplain at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, he offers spiritual care, preaching, sacramental leadership, and administrative oversight while continuing to walk with people in seasons of trauma, loss, and recovery. His academic background in psychology, Anglican studies, and canon law undergirds a pastoral style that is clinically informed, theologically grounded, and deeply compassionate.
