St. Jude
Tommy has come to venerate St. Jude, the apostle, due to having prayed for his intercession on an almost impossible outcome. St. Jude came through as he is the “Apostle of the Impossible.”
Tommy Sheppard is a candidate for Holy Orders in The Episcopal Church, a teacher, and public theologian in love with the God who calls all to liberation, wholeness, and compassion. He is committed to working and playing alongside God in communities seeking to practice justice, mercy, and joy in our world.
Bio
Tommy grew up in rural Tishomingo, Mississippi. Raised primarily by his paternal grandparents, who instilled in him the virtues of hard work, compassion, and the beauty of nature. He has always lived between the world of nature and the world of technology. Tommy is a huge animal lover and is caretaker to 3 loving dogs (Grace, Belle, and Dodi) and also to a sun conure (Ekko).
